Jamie is a highly motivated individual with a deep love for the artistry and craftsmanship of doing hair. He found his love in this industry as an artist fascinated by all the ways to transform and manipulate hair. With the endless possibilities of shape, color, structure, and form he knew this was the artistic outlet he had been searching for; a perfect blend of discipline and imagination. As a true master of our craft every class he teaches he hopes to convey the potential we have as stylists and aims to propel the mastery and strictness of our trade.
Jamie has a genuine passion for teaching and inspiring. Having had the opportunity of educating for a number of product and color lines including being a platform artist with Colorproof, and now truly honored to be a Master Stylist with Usmooth. His creative vision, outside of the box thinking, and impactful teaching style, Jamie has trained stylists and educators from Boston to San Diego. Having trained many of the educators for companies such as Matrix when launching their new cutting methodology, Jamie is versatile in many different styles of cutting therefore can understand what you are looking for and the best approach to achieve the results.
Jamie is known for his precision and visionary mentality. He constantly challenges the rules, pushes the boundaries of vision and having been the director of Artistic Teams it keeps him on the forefront of trends and coming up with new innovative ideas. Realizing the complexity of our trade and defining what it means to work on this plane of perpetual motion, the soul of haircutting lie’s in foundation, discipline, principle, and bending what the eye perceives as reality. Jamie has gained a wealth of knowledge through the years being an on stage presence as well as working behind the scenes at hair shows around the country including Chicago, Orlando, and Boston. In doing so, Jamie has worked with some of our industries top stylists including Jim Markham, Chrystofer Benson, John Bertilli, and Phillip Wilson.

A little time just for you, centered around you. Nothing to reach for and nothing to accomplish. I have spent my career pushing my knowledge and skill of this craft so you can relax and have a little time to focus on you.
